So, with 2009 just a day away, I thought that I'd start the new year by creating my own little spot on this world wide web. I can't promise that I'll be a good read but it might be fun (for me...not neccessarily you) to have a place to share, vent and reflect on my days and those of my 2 little boys, husband and puppy. I welcome anyone who would like to check in on "what's new" with my awesome little family. And I'd love for anyone interested to create and share their own little spots.

Let's give this a whirl! Christmas is OVA. Thank the stars above. Don't get me wrong...I love, love, love the day itself but the horrible days leading up to it are far too stressful for my liking. I can't blame anyone but myself cause I really should start the shopping process early as I promise myself i will do every year and don't. So it's hectic and stressful and miserable....and completely self inflicted so don't feel bad for me. However, on the brighter side, the day always turns out amazing. My family had one of the best ones yet despite the drastic budget cuts. Both boys are at a fun age. Although, I often wonder how many more we will have where Jacob believes in the big guy.

Moose, our 8 month old puppy, did surprisingly well with the whole process. Our tree was only half decorated (from the top to about midway down the tree) but it stayed standing the entire month and there were no ornaments making surprise trips through a puppy digestive track. Well done dog, well done!

Now I'm staring 2009 in the face and wondering what it has in store for me and the Rockwood family. I hope for health, happiness and lots of new adventures...good ones, of course. So HAPPY NEW YEAR to all.
